Who is The Farm Team?

THE TEAM BEGAN IN 2020 WITH A SMALL TEAM OF THREE SHOOTERS. OUR TEAM HAS GROWN AND HAD SO MUCH FUN OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS. THE TEAM’S GOALS ARE TO CREATE SAFE, SKILLED, AND SUPER WELL-ROUNDED YOUNG ATHLETES. OUR ATHLETES WILL TAKE SHOOTING SPORTS WITH THEM THROUGHOUT THEIR ADULT LIVES.

THE FARM TEAM IS A YOUTH SPORTING CLAYS TEAM BASED OUT OF NEW ALBANY, INDIANA. OUR HOME COURSE IS THE SPORTING CLUB AT THE FARM. THE FARM TEAM SHOOTS IN SCHOLASTIC CLAY TARGET PROGRAM (SCTP) EVENTS AROUND THE STATE OF INDIANA, REGIONAL EVENTS, AND NATIONAL EVENTS . THE TEAM IS AGES 5TH GRADE - COLLEGE.

  • FUNDING MEANS KIDS CAN HAVE MORE TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCES, ENJOY THE BENEFITS OF COMPETITIVE SHOOTING, AND DEVELOP AS PEOPLE.

  • SHOOTING SPORTS ARE EXPENSIVE AND ONLY SCTP TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES ARE COVERED. THE TEAM (20+ SHOOTERS) WILL SPEND APPROXIMATELY $60,000 PER YEAR COMPETING, EXCLUDING TRAVEL COSTS.

  • TYPICAL COSTS ARE: PRACTICE CLAYS, AMMO, REGIONAL & NATIONAL TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEES, TEAM GEAR, ETC. TEAM MEMBERS SUPPLY THEIR OWN GUNS.
